About Us

James Allen

James has been a Quantity Surveyor for over 26 years, and has experience in all sectors of construction from a predominantly main contractor background. James has worked within the UK industry whilst having 2 years’ experience within the New Zealand industry. James has held numerous positions within the industry, from a Trainee QS right through to Commercial Manager and Team Leader positions. 

James has experience leading teams and projects in values ranging from £5k-10k, right through to £90m in value, of varying sizes and complexities.  

James’ main motivations are providing clients with honest transparent advice and ensuring that their risks are effectively managed and providing the right level of protection on all projects. James is passionate about construction and seeing the final product reflect the hard work and professionalism of the team, thus providing an excellent quality project for our clients. 

James is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and also a fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health, with a successful completion of the Diploman in Construction Adjudication with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. James is currently in the process of completing his Masters Degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution at Leeds Beckett University. 

James is a passionate advocate for life long learning, and believes that CPD is essential for all professionals to ensure that indidviduals and businesses stay up to date with the latest construction techniques, rules and regulations with respect of building and updated statutes.

About Us

andrew Wootton-Jones

Andrew has been ‘in Construction’ and Property for over 30 years, and has a wealth of real life experience at all levels, including holding Director positions in several companies and property markets since 2006.  

Motivated by challenge, Andrew remains as passionate about the industry today as he was at the outset.  

Andrew is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor by profession and is a member of The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). RICS are the leading professional body for qualifications and standards in land, property, infrastructure and construction.  

Andrew is a strong advocate of professional memberships, training and CPD, and through the Institute of Directors (IOD), NRLA and others, he operates in an active network, ensuring connections and knowledge are relevant and up to date.  

A property developer himself,  NRLA landlord, HMO expert and Property consultant, Andrew is passionate about all things property and construction. He has operated at all levels in the industry from sub-contractor, main contractor, clients professional advisor in Project Management, Contract administrator and Employers agent roles, and as a developer himself. 

Andrew is a credit to this practice as he has had a unique experience, has a clear perspective and insight in addition to well honed skills and commercial acumen.
